"The Lieutenant of Inishmore" is a macabre pleasure
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - It all starts with a black cat, Wee Thomas by name, who bruised his brain is on an isolated dirt road on the island of Inishmore in County Galway. From there, Martin McDonagh's "The Lieutenant of Inishmore 'down like a rocket - a look brilliant, unpredictable rockets - and not back until the scene is littered with … Well, therein lies the story. "Inishmore" runs at the Mark Taper Forum on 8 August is a strange play merry, merry as only the Irish can be, and not for the faint of heart. If the sight of blood makes you woozy step, see a vampire film in the place where the people and the effects are expected to be prettier. The game is a strange mix of violence, sadism, torture, sentimentality and laughter stops - or actors - has made this graph to chew bitten the playwright, including landscapes. The main character is young revolutionaries in 1930 by Padraic Chris Pine as a psychopath with the spirit of a spoiled child won babyfaced. Padraic lives for two things: a free and united Ireland and his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, whom he in the care of his cantankerous father, Donny (Sean G. Griffin left), then it is torture, or it can be fatal, that laid his hands on. The story unfolds like an ironic comedy of errors and deceptions, when Wee Thomas was killed and the murderer seems Davey (Coby Getzug), a local 17 years who is friendly with Donny. Both are on the death of Padraic, whose reputation for violence and madness known fear. They develop a system that the suspicious death of Padraic hide cat, but missed the plane in a series of impressive resolution, which are terrible and funny. It is a comedy as black as sometimes you have to rub your eyes in disbelief, and to wipe the tears of laughter. Even in the middle of the room Mairead (Zoe Perry), Deadeye sister Davey, of a glance - - can draw from cattle or humans - to 60 meters air rifle with his confidence. Mairead Padraic loves would do anything for him and share his fondness for cats. It turns out that this condition leads to a consumption devoutly not foreseeable. What's remarkable about the letter, as he captures in words creates a particular form of madness that has infected most of Ireland in the 20th Century. There is great anger and sadness just under the particular brutality and sentimentality. Director Wilson Milam has been the game since his debut in 2001 in England and I know what shows and where are the laughs. Pine and Perry on an excellent team of natural born killer by a common love for cats. Andrew Connolly, Kevin Kearns Ian Alda strong as the members of the group's Splinter wacky Padraic, to regret the reason to support against him. Brett Ryback plays an entire scene on its head and made look easy. Special congratulations to the people of property and technology, which together every complex (and complicated) information as complete. Twice a day on Saturdays and Sundays? Impossible.
