"Jersey Shore to return for 2nd season

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - MTV's "Jersey Shore" will be back for a second season. The president of network programming Tony DiSanto said Friday that 12 new episodes this summer air. According to the network, Pauly D, Mike Snook, Jenni, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny escape the cold north to a new destination. The show on tanned twenty-somethings is not without controversy. In December, when the New Jersey Italian American Legislative Caucus on MTV to cancel the show, said he favors the ethnic stereotypes and derogatory "is wildly offensive." MTV does not show how the cast members are paid to do the show.
